The most requested missing option. Cursor's community forum has multiple long-running threads asking for PayPal, iDEAL, and other European payment systems, with no commitment from the team so far. If you only have PayPal, the practical route is a card that draws on a balance you control — not waiting for native support.

Stripe supports both wallets, but a merchant has to enable them, and Cursor has not. Searches like "cursor apple pay" and "cursor google pay" spike every month; the answer is still no. If your card already sits in Apple Pay or Google Pay, you can simply enter that same card's details manually at checkout.

Cursor does not sell gift cards, and there is no gift-a-subscription feature — just a community feature request that has been open since 2025. Third-party sites sell "Cursor gift cards" that are really prepaid Visa cards. These sometimes clear once, but they fail at recurring billing: Stripe flags many prepaid BINs, and a card with a fixed balance dies the month it runs dry. 1. The issuer blocks international online payments. Common with local-market debit cards. Ask your bank to enable international card-not-present transactions, or use a card that supports them by default.
