Pay in the correct Gcore portal
Use the SolCard-funded card in Gcore's Customer Portal for products like Edge Cloud, CDN, Streaming Platform, Object Storage, Managed DNS, WAAP, DDoS Protection, or FastEdge, and use the same card in the Hosting Platform when ordering or renewing VPS and dedicated servers.
Why SolCard Fits Gcore's Billing Model
Gcore bills Edge Cloud per minute and requires at least EUR 4 or USD 4 on balance to start using the service. As usage crosses each EUR 4 or USD 4 threshold, Gcore charges the balance or saved payment method, while extras such as volumes, snapshots, reserved IPs, images, and Windows licenses are billed separately.
Gcore says CDN plan fees, Object Storage subscription fees, traffic overcommitment fees, and Streaming Platform resource charges are collected on the second day of the month. A crypto-funded card is useful when you want those scheduled charges to run through Gcore's normal billing routine.
Gcore splits billing between the Customer Portal for products like CDN, Cloud, Streaming Platform, Object Storage, Managed DNS, FastEdge, WAAP, and DDoS Protection, and the Hosting Platform for VPS and dedicated servers. SolCard gives you one reusable payment card for the card-checkout parts of both flows.
Gcore's Streaming Platform bills core resources such as transcoding, storage, delivery, and AI services by usage, and its stored-video charge is based on the highest number of stored minutes reached during the month. That makes payment planning different from a simple flat subscription.
Gcore states that an unsuccessful payment attempt can suspend all products in the account. Deletion timing then varies by service: Object Storage and many basic Cloud resources can be deleted after 48 hours, Managed PostgreSQL and Managed Logging after 14 days, and CDN or Video Streaming after 90 days.
Gcore's dedicated server ordering flow uses a cart and payment step, and the company says activation usually takes 15 minutes to 3 hours after payment. For reserved servers, Gcore bills monthly during the reservation period, so a funded payment card is useful beyond the initial order.

About Gcore
Gcore sells infrastructure services such as Edge Cloud virtual machines, bare metal, CDN plans, video streaming, object storage, dedicated servers, Managed DNS, and security products. Real Gcore charges can include per-minute cloud usage, monthly plan fees collected on the second day of the month for services like CDN or Object Storage, streaming resource usage measured in minutes, and VPS or dedicated server orders handled through Gcore's hosting billing flow. Gcore's public billing documentation lists card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, and AliPay payment options, but does not document native crypto checkout, so SolCard is useful when you want to fund Gcore's standard payment flow with crypto.
Gcore Billing and Crypto FAQ
Gcore's public billing documentation does not list a native crypto checkout. The Customer Portal documents bank cards, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay, while Hosting Platform payment docs list PayPal, bank transfer, bank cards, and AliPay.
