Pay Heroku with Crypto

Heroku requires a payment method to verify accounts that create apps, deploy code, use dynos, add add-ons, attach custom domains, or receive transferred apps. Heroku Team accounts also require card information when the team is created, so SolCard maps directly to the billing step Heroku already asks for.

Heroku bills for the previous month's usage in USD, and invoices of US$1 or more are charged automatically. That makes SolCard a practical fit for ongoing infrastructure spend instead of a merchant that only sells one-off purchases.

Heroku measures dyno usage by wall-clock time and prorates it to the second. One-off heroku run sessions, Scheduler jobs, and Review Apps all contribute billable usage, so SolCard remains useful even when your monthly total changes with each deploy cycle.

A single Heroku bill can mix dynos with Heroku Postgres, Heroku Key-Value Store, Apache Kafka on Heroku, and partner add-ons from the Elements Marketplace. SolCard can sit behind that full self-serve stack rather than only a single subscription line.

Heroku's invoice summary separates application dynos, Heroku Data services, and add-on services, and it can show charges for apps that were live or deleted during the month. Paying through the standard card route preserves the billing records exactly where Heroku expects you to manage them.

Heroku says add-ons keep accruing charges until they are destroyed, and destroying an add-on also destroys the associated data. Keeping a valid payment path in place matters more when databases, caches, or queues are attached to production apps.
