Book Delta Flights with Crypto

Delta says third-party tickets can trigger extra handling charges when you need to make changes, while tickets originally issued by Delta through delta.com, the Fly Delta app, reservation sales, or a ticket office avoid that external-ticket bucket. Paying Delta directly with SolCard keeps the booking in Delta's own system from the start.

Delta sells Preferred Seats and post-purchase upgrades to Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta First, and Delta Comfort after ticketing when eligible. Those add-ons are generally available until 90 minutes before departure or until check-in closes, and Delta Basic experience tickets are excluded.

Delta lets customers choose bag count and pay checked-bag fees during the 24-hour check-in window on delta.com, in the Fly Delta app, or at airport kiosks. That matters because baggage is often a separate charge from the airfare, and Delta's U.S. airport locations are cashless.

Delta's rebooking flow applies your eCredit to the replacement flight price, but if the new itinerary costs more you still need to pay the difference at checkout. SolCard is practical for those top-up payments when unused ticket value does not fully cover the new fare.

Delta gift cards can be used toward air transportation and Delta Vacations packages that include air, but Delta's own terms say they cannot be used for baggage fees, class upgrades, or premium seating after the initial ticket purchase. SolCard is more useful when the charge comes later in the trip lifecycle.

Delta says tickets purchased on delta.com are reported to your card issuer as sales made in the country where travel originates, not always in the country where you live. That makes a dedicated payment method useful for international bookings that may post in a different currency or market.
