Pay Alchemy with Crypto

Alchemy's self-serve plans are priced around Compute Units rather than flat software seats. If your RPC, webhook, NFT, or wallet traffic grows past the free 30 million Compute Units each month, SolCard can cover those PAYG usage charges without changing how Alchemy bills you.

Alchemy says PAYG accounts are billed when they hit a billing threshold, with any remaining balance charged at the end of the billing period. That matters if production traffic spikes before month-end and you need a card ready for more than one charge in a month.

Invoice history, payment methods, and plan changes live in the dashboard for account admins. SolCard works inside that existing workflow, so finance access stays where Alchemy already expects billing to be managed.

Alchemy documents a temporary $5 pre-authorization when you upgrade from Free to Pay As You Go. Using SolCard gives you a dedicated payment method for that Stripe verification step before real usage billing starts.

Alchemy lets auto-scale customers set spend alerts and max on-demand spend limits from the Billing and Alerts tabs. That is helpful when SolCard is funding variable infrastructure usage and you want explicit limits around bursty demand.

Alchemy is not purely card-only: its support docs say Enterprise customers can pay with cryptocurrency, and its agentic access flow supports wallet-funded compute via USDC. SolCard remains the straightforward option for the standard Free-to-PAYG dashboard billing path most customers use.
