Pay Chainstack with Crypto
Chainstack already supports crypto balance top-ups, and SolCard gives you a card-based way to cover renewals, threshold charges, and add-ons with SOL, USDC, USDT, and SOLC across 9 blockchain networks.
How to settle Chainstack charges with crypto
Open Billing and pick the charge you need to fund
Chainstack admins manage payments from the Billing area, where you can top up balance, retry failed payments, switch plans, change support levels, and review metered usage for endpoints, dedicated nodes, Warp, and Subgraphs.
Choose native crypto balance or a SolCard-backed card
Chainstack lets you top up account balance with 150+ cryptocurrencies through Coinbase Commerce, NOWPayments, or a non-custodial wallet. If you prefer Chainstack to charge the card on file instead, fund that card with SolCard.
Track thresholds, renewals, and overage settings
Base plan renewals follow the regular billing cycle, but extra usage can trigger automatic threshold charges before month-end. If pay-as-you-go is turned off, Chainstack treats the plan as a hard limit and stops service at quota instead of billing overages.
Why Chainstack spend is not just one flat monthly invoice
Chainstack lets anyone start on the free Developer plan without a credit card, then step into Growth, Pro, or Business when request-unit needs climb. Plan changes apply immediately, and Chainstack says unused subscription funds from the old tier go back into your balance.
Native crypto payments are built into Billing, and Chainstack uses balance first for subscriptions, support, and node usage before falling back to the attached card. SolCard is useful when you want crypto funding but would rather let the card path handle the actual charge.
Chainstack can bill before your renewal date when metered usage crosses a threshold. That applies to API requests, dedicated node hours, Warp transactions, and Subgraphs, so production traffic spikes do not always wait for the month-end invoice.
The pay-as-you-go toggle matters on Chainstack. Leave it on and the platform keeps serving requests while overages are charged; turn it off and the account hits a hard limit once the included quota is consumed.
A Chainstack bill can include Unlimited Node from Growth upward, Yellowstone Geyser from Growth, Dedicated Nodes from Pro, Marketplace apps, and hourly compute or storage for dedicated infrastructure. SolCard helps when those extras matter more than the sticker price of the plan itself.
Support upgrades are billed separately from plan changes, and Chainstack applies unused support spend to the new option or returns it to balance. Paid Marketplace apps are also billed separately, and removing one before the cycle ends can create a partial refund for the unused portion.

About Chainstack
Chainstack is a blockchain infrastructure platform for teams paying for RPC access, archive data, dedicated nodes, Yellowstone Geyser streams, Unlimited Node capacity, and Marketplace apps across 70+ chains. Many users start on the free Developer plan, then move into paid Growth, Pro, or Business tiers, support upgrades, metered overages, dedicated node compute, Warp transactions, and other usage charges from the Billing screen. Chainstack already accepts crypto through native balance top-ups, but SolCard still fits when you want those charges to clear through the card workflow instead of keeping a separate balance topped up by hand.
Chainstack billing details worth checking first
Yes. Chainstack's Billing page includes native crypto top-ups, and its docs say admins can pay with 150+ cryptocurrencies through Coinbase Commerce, NOWPayments, or a non-custodial wallet. That balance is charged first for subscriptions, support, and node usage before Chainstack tries the attached card.
