Pay Mailgun with Crypto

Mailgun's self-serve billing is not just a flat software seat. Direct accounts can carry a monthly plan and then incur extra charges if email sending or validations exceed the included allowance, which makes SolCard useful for workloads that change from month to month.

Mailgun documents Mailgun Send and Mailgun Optimize as separate product subscriptions in the billing flow. That matters if your team uses Mailgun for both core email delivery and deliverability optimization rather than paying for only one product line.

Mailgun's pricing page lets customers add dedicated IPs through the control panel or support. SolCard is relevant when your sending setup grows beyond the base plan and you need to fund reputation-focused add-ons as well.

Mailgun's help center says annual billing is not available for direct self-serve accounts. The standard path is monthly billing, with prepayment handled separately through support, so SolCard fits the documented recurring model most direct customers actually use.

Mailgun distinguishes between direct accounts and accounts billed through providers such as Rackspace, Heroku, Cloudways, or Kinsta. SolCard fits the first case, where the payment method is managed inside Mailgun's own billing page.

Mailgun's PAYG billing docs say the invoice is generated on the first day of the month and can include the new subscription cycle plus the previous month's overages. That mixed charge pattern is more specific than a simple once-a-month flat fee.
