Deposit SOL, USDC, USDT, or SOLC directly from your crypto wallet across 9 supported blockchain networks.
Subscribe from your Zed account
Open dashboard.zed.dev/account, choose Zed Pro, and complete Zed's Stripe-powered payment flow with your SolCard. The same card can cover monthly renewals and any threshold invoices from extra hosted-model usage.
Why SolCard works with Zed's monthly-plus-usage billing
Zed Pro is a $10 monthly subscription, but it also includes only $5 of hosted-model credits. If you keep using Zed-hosted AI after that, SolCard can cover both the fixed subscription price and the variable usage charges that follow.
Zed exposes a `Maximum Token Spend` control on the Account page. Pro users start with a default $10 incremental cap, can set it to $0 to stay at exactly $10 per month, or raise it for heavier months.
Zed does not wait only for a month-end bill. Each time incremental hosted-model spend crosses $10, Orb generates another invoice, which matters if you have a bursty month of heavy AI-assisted editing and model usage.
Zed's 14-day Pro trial includes $20 of token credits and ends when the credits or time run out. Its docs say the trial falls back to Zed Free automatically, so you only start paying when you intentionally keep Pro.
Zed works as a free editor without authentication, and it also supports your own API keys or external agents. SolCard is most useful when you want the convenience of Zed-hosted models instead of bringing your own providers.
Self-serve Pro billing happens in the Zed account page with card payment, while invoice-based billing requires a Business or enterprise-style sales conversation. That makes SolCard a fit for individual Pro subscriptions, not Zed's custom invoicing path.

About Zed
Zed sells a self-serve Pro subscription for its AI-enabled code editor through your Zed account, plus usage-based hosted-model charges after you exhaust the plan's included monthly token credit. A realistic SolCard use case is paying the $10 per month Zed Pro fee, recurring renewals, and any extra token invoices generated when heavy AI usage crosses Zed's billing thresholds. Zed also offers a sales-led enterprise plan for organizations, but its standard Pro flow is card-based and routed through Stripe.
Zed Pro payment FAQ
Zed's billing docs say Pro plans are paid through Stripe via credit card or another supported payment method, and Zed does not document native crypto checkout. SolCard is useful because it lets you fund that standard Zed Pro billing flow with crypto.
