Link SolCard and Choose It for the Ride
Open Yango's Payment Methods menu, add SolCard as a linked card, and select it when booking so Yango can charge the fare, extra-charge ride options, and eligible post-ride tips through its usual bank-card flow.
Why SolCard Fits Yango's Ride Billing
Yango shows the ride price after you enter a destination, but its support page says the final total can increase if the destination is changed later, paid wait time kicks in, or automatic tips are enabled. SolCard is useful when your Yango fare is finalized inside the app instead of at a fixed web checkout.
Yango lets riders add extra ride information in the Options section, including requests such as a child safety seat or a car with air conditioning. It also notes that some of these options cost extra and vary by location, so SolCard works well as the card you keep ready for those market-specific ride add-ons.
Yango allows up to five bank cards in the app and may verify a newly linked card by reserving a small amount, asking you to confirm that amount, or sending you through 3-D Secure on your bank's site. SolCard fits that saved-card setup because you add it exactly where Yango expects a normal bank card.
Yango says that if your selected card is blocked or does not have enough funds, the payment method may automatically switch to cash and both you and the driver are notified. Keeping SolCard funded and saved in Yango makes it easier to stay on the cashless ride flow you intended to use.
Yango only supports tipping when the ride is paid by bank card, and it can reserve the tip amount on your card for up to 24 hours if you do not tap Done within 30 minutes after the ride. SolCard gives you a dedicated payment card for that post-ride tipping behavior instead of your main bank card.
Yango can email ride reports if you add your address in the app, and its support page says an unfamiliar charge may belong to an earlier ride if the card could not be charged right away. Using SolCard for Yango keeps those trip-by-trip app charges easier to reconcile.

About Yango
Yango is a ride-hailing app for iOS and Android where riders book trips in-app, choose a service class, add up to three extra stops before requesting, and select paid ride options such as a child safety seat or air conditioning where available. Yango documents cash and bank-card payments for rides, and its support pages note that card-based totals can still change because of destination changes, paid wait time, automatic tips, or cancellation after the car has arrived. SolCard gives you a crypto-funded card you can link to Yango's normal payment flow when Yango itself does not offer direct crypto checkout for rides.
Yango Payment FAQ
Yango's official payment materials describe cash, linked bank cards, and Yango Pay topped up with mobile money in supported markets, but they do not document a direct cryptocurrency checkout for rides. SolCard is the practical option if you want to pay Yango from crypto while Yango still processes a standard card payment.
