Use SolCard on ESPN.com or in the ESPN App
Add SolCard when you start an ESPN Select or Unlimited plan, update an ESPN-billed subscription, or buy an eligible PPV event through ESPN's website or app. ESPN processes it like a normal card payment.
Why SolCard Fits ESPN's Subscription and PPV Model
ESPN now splits direct streaming into two paid tiers: Select for ESPN+ content and Unlimited for ESPN's broader network lineup. SolCard is useful if you want one crypto-funded card ready for whichever recurring plan you choose.
ESPN's support pages make clear that certain events, including UFC PPV and some Top Rank boxing cards, are bought separately from your main subscription. SolCard helps when your ESPN spend mixes recurring streaming renewals with higher one-time event charges.
ESPN says current Select and Unlimited subscriptions are direct purchases on ESPN.com, while older ESPN+ subscriptions billed through Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, or other partners must usually be managed with that partner. SolCard is most straightforward when ESPN itself is the merchant of record.
ESPN lets you cancel anytime, but access continues only until the end of the current billing cycle and it does not refund partially used periods. ESPN also documents prorated upgrades to Unlimited and says an annual plan cannot immediately be switched to monthly billing after it is charged.
ESPN's payment-method page lists Disney Visa, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and PayPal for Select and Unlimited purchases, but not direct crypto. SolCard is the crypto-funded option when you want ESPN to receive a standard card payment.
ESPN offers MLB.TV as an add-on for qualifying ESPN Unlimited subscribers and notes that the first month can be prorated to line up billing. Support also says MLB.TV can later renew on or around March 1 on its own schedule, which can create separate ESPN charges beyond your main subscription.
Cryptocurrencies You Can Use for ESPN
About ESPN
ESPN sells direct streaming subscriptions through its ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited plans, and it also offers ESPN-billed bundle options and eligible pay-per-view events through ESPN's website and app. A real ESPN charge can be a monthly or annual renewal, a prorated plan upgrade, a separate UFC or Top Rank PPV purchase, or an add-on such as MLB.TV on ESPN for qualifying Unlimited subscribers. SolCard gives you a crypto-funded way to cover those documented ESPN card charges even though ESPN's published payment methods do not include direct cryptocurrency.
ESPN Subscription and PPV FAQ
ESPN's payment-method documentation for Select and Unlimited lists major card brands and PayPal, but it does not publish a direct crypto checkout option. SolCard is the route if you want to fund eligible ESPN charges with crypto while ESPN still receives a standard card payment.
