Spend Bitcoin and Litecoin With a Crypto Debit Card

You can now top up your SolCard with Bitcoin (BTC) on the Bitcoin network and Litecoin (LTC) on the Litecoin network. Send the coin straight from your wallet or exchange to your card's deposit address. Once the network confirms it, it's converted to US dollars and loaded onto your Visa or Mastercard debit card, ready to spend anywhere cards are accepted. There's no wrapping, bridging or swapping to a stablecoin first.
BTC and LTC join the assets SolCard already accepts: USDC and USDT on Solana and the major EVM networks, native ETH, BNB, POL, AVAX and HYPE, USDT on Tron, USDG and EURC, and wBTC and wETH on Solana.
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Litecoin (LTC) | |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Bitcoin | Litecoin |
| Minimum per deposit | $20 equivalent | $20 equivalent |
| Maximum per deposit | $50,000 equivalent | $50,000 equivalent |
| Credited after | ~2 confirmations | 6 confirmations |
| Typical wait | ~20 minutes | ~15 minutes |
| Card balance | US dollars | US dollars |
Sending less than the minimum results in permanent loss of funds. Check the minimum shown in the deposit panel before you send.
Each card gets its own permanent BTC address and its own permanent LTC address. You'll find them in the deposit panel of the SolCard dashboard. The address doesn't change between top-ups, so you can save it in your wallet or add it to your exchange's withdrawal address book once and reuse it every time.
Two things to keep straight:
- The BTC address only takes BTC on the Bitcoin network, and the LTC address only takes LTC on the Litecoin network. Bitcoin-pegged tokens on other chains, such as WBTC on Ethereum or BTCB on BNB Chain, won't be credited to your Bitcoin address. If your Bitcoin exposure already sits on Solana as wBTC, use the wBTC deposit option instead.
- Each address belongs to one card. If you have more than one SolCard, copy the address from the card you want to load.
- Open your card in the SolCard dashboard and choose Deposit.
- Pick Bitcoin or Litecoin as the network.
- Copy the deposit address and check the minimum shown.
- Send at least the minimum, and no more than $50,000 equivalent, from your wallet or exchange.
- The deposit shows as Confirming in your card's activity while the network confirms it. After the required confirmations, it's converted to US dollars and loaded onto your card.
Stablecoin top-ups on Solana land in seconds. Bitcoin and Litecoin work differently: a transaction is only final once it has been included in a block and more blocks have been built on top of it. Each of those blocks is a confirmation, and waiting for enough of them is what makes a deposit final.
Bitcoin produces a block roughly every 10 minutes, so about 2 confirmations typically takes around 20 minutes. Litecoin's blocks come about every 2.5 minutes, so 6 confirmations typically takes around 15 minutes. Those are typical times, not promises. Blocks arrive at random intervals, and if you attach a low network fee when the network is busy, your transaction can wait longer before it's picked up in the first place.
If you want the fastest possible top-up, a stablecoin on a fast network is still quicker. If your savings are in BTC or LTC, sending it directly saves you the sell, the stablecoin withdrawal, and the network choice that a detour would add.
SolCard cards are denominated in US dollars. Your BTC or LTC is converted automatically at the market rate at the time your deposit is confirmed, not at the moment you hit send. Because Bitcoin and Litecoin prices move, the dollar amount loaded onto your card can be a little higher or lower than what your wallet showed when you sent it.
Once it's on your card, your balance is in dollars and no longer moves with the price of the coin. Converting crypto can be a taxable disposal in many countries, the same as selling it on an exchange. Our guide on whether you can spend Bitcoin like cash covers the tradeoffs.
Check what actually arrives, not what you type. Many exchanges subtract their withdrawal fee from the amount you enter, and wallets add a network fee paid to miners. If you send close to the $20 minimum, the amount that reaches your address can end up below it, and sending less than the minimum results in permanent loss of funds. Leave a comfortable margin above the minimum.
Check the network. When you withdraw from an exchange, pick the Bitcoin network for BTC and the Litecoin network for LTC. Exchanges often list several networks for the same coin, and choosing the wrong one means the deposit won't be credited.
Check the fee setting. Most wallets let you choose a slower, cheaper fee or a faster one. A very low fee can leave your transaction waiting for hours before the first confirmation. Our transaction fee comparison shows what Bitcoin transfers usually cost.
Yes. Send BTC on the Bitcoin network to your SolCard's Bitcoin deposit address. Once it's confirmed, it's converted to US dollars and loaded onto your Visa or Mastercard debit card, which works anywhere cards are accepted.
Yes. SolCard accepts LTC on the Litecoin network. Pick Litecoin in the deposit panel and send LTC to the address shown. It's credited after 6 confirmations, typically around 15 minutes.
The minimum is $20 equivalent per deposit and the maximum is $50,000 equivalent per deposit, for both BTC and LTC. Sending less than the minimum results in permanent loss of funds, so check the minimum in the deposit panel and account for any fee your exchange or wallet deducts.
Bitcoin deposits are credited after about 2 confirmations, typically around 20 minutes. While you wait, the deposit shows as Confirming in your card's activity. A low network fee or a busy network can make it take longer.
No. Each card has a permanent Bitcoin address and a permanent Litecoin address, so you can save them and reuse them for every top-up.
No. Only BTC on the Bitcoin network is credited to your Bitcoin address. Wrapped or bridged versions on other chains won't be credited there. If you hold wBTC on Solana, use the separate wBTC deposit option.
