SolCard customers have successfully paid Replit with the Virtual for AI & Ad Spend card (as of October 2026). Top it up with USDT, USDC, USDG, EURC, ETH, BNB, POL, AVAX, HYPE, wBTC, wETH or SOL: $10 for the card, 5% per top-up. Get Virtual for AI & Ad Spend.
Replit doesn't list crypto as a payment method. Plans and usage are billed to a card on file, so the way to pay from a wallet is a card you top up with crypto. That card then covers the Core or Pro subscription, credit packs, and the usage your published apps run up.
Replit is a browser-based platform where its AI Agent builds and publishes apps for you. The bill has three parts: a plan, credits that the Agent and your hosted apps draw down, and extra usage when credits run out. This guide covers each, with current prices and what happens when a payment fails.
- Get a crypto-funded card. Virtual for AI & Ad Spend is a prepaid virtual card you top up with stablecoins or other crypto.
- Open Replit's pricing page and choose Core or Pro, monthly or yearly.
- Enter the card at checkout. The same card is used for extra usage and credit packs.
- Set a budget and keep the card funded. Replit bills usage beyond your credits to the card on file.
From Replit's pricing page, October 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly (per month) | Credits included | For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0 | $0 | Free Mode only | Trying Replit |
| Core | $20 | $18 | $20 toward more powerful models | Personal projects and simple apps |
| Pro | $100 | $90 | $100 toward the most powerful models, with tiered credits | Commercial builds, up to 15 collaborators |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | SSO, SCIM, audit logs, private networking |
Pro also shows higher tiers on the pricing page ($215, $425, $825 and $2,000 a month) for teams that need more monthly credits. Replit's Pro docs say Pro credits roll over for two months.
Replit's AI billing docs explain the model. Your plan's monthly credits pay for the Agent and for cloud services such as published apps, storage and databases. Some Agent features call paid third-party models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) behind the scenes, and those are deducted from your credits at the provider's public API rate.
Free Mode work costs nothing. Power and Max modes use paid models and draw credits. When credits run out, you can buy a credit pack. Replit's spend management page lists the packs:
| Credit pack | Price | Saving |
|---|---|---|
| $100 of credits | $100 | None |
| $300 of credits | $290 | $10 |
| $500 of credits | $480 | $20 |
The same page covers usage limits and budgets. Set one. The Agent can spend credits faster than you expect on a big build, and Plan Mode lets you scope work before it starts charging.
| What you buy | Card charge | SolCard fee at 5% |
|---|---|---|
| Replit Core, monthly | $20 | $1 |
| Replit Pro, monthly | $100 | $5 |
| $300 credit pack | $290 | $14.50 |
Add the one-time $10 card fee in your first month. The 5% applies to each card top-up, not to Replit's charge.
Our view: if you build with Replit every week, the yearly Core plan at $18 a month cuts both Replit's price and the number of card top-ups. If your use comes in bursts, stay monthly and buy credit packs only when a project needs them.
Replit's publishing and database billing page is direct about it: "Continuous payment failures might lead to the suspension of your published apps." A declined card on a hobby plan is an annoyance. On an app with users, it can take the app offline.
Causes we see at AI and developer checkouts on crypto-funded cards:
- Not enough on the card for the renewal or a usage charge.
- A prepaid card the checkout rejects. Many prepaid cards fail at AI merchants; Virtual for AI & Ad Spend was built for them.
- Billing details that don't match. Use the name and address on your SolCard account.
- Repeated attempts in a short time, which can trigger a temporary block.
- 3D Secure. Complete the 3D Secure prompt if the first payment asks for it.
If Replit flags a payment problem, it notifies you. Top up the card, update the payment method in Billing, and contact Replit support if a published app was suspended.
SolCard built Virtual for AI & Ad Spend for AI tools, API credits and ad platforms. SolCard customers have paid Replit with it, so it can sit behind your plan, credit packs and usage.
What it doesn't do: it won't lower Replit's prices, and it's a virtual card only, with no Apple Pay or Google Pay. If you're comparing AI app builders, see how to pay for Lovable with crypto and Cursor; the same card works on both.
No. Replit lists no crypto option and bills plans and usage to a card on file. To pay from a wallet, use a crypto-funded card. SolCard customers have paid Replit with the Virtual for AI & Ad Spend card as of October 2026.
Replit Core is $20 a month, or $18 a month billed yearly. It includes $20 of monthly credits toward more powerful models, plus Free Mode usage. Replit Pro is $100 a month, or $90 billed yearly.
You can keep working in Free Mode at no cost, or buy a credit pack: $100 for $100 of credits, $290 for $300, or $480 for $500. Usage beyond your credits is billed to the card on file, so set a budget in Replit's spend settings.
Yes. Replit says continuous payment failures might lead to the suspension of your published apps. Keep the card funded above your expected monthly usage.
Yes. Replit's Pro docs say Pro credits roll over for two months. Core credits are monthly.
Replit's plan price is the small part of the bill. Credits, usage and the apps you publish are where the money goes, and a failed payment can take a live app offline. Whatever card you pay with, fund it for the month you expect, not the plan price, and set a budget so the Agent can't outspend it.
