SOLC Staking: Everything You Need to Know
In this article

SOLC staking is live. Stake SOLC from up to 5 linked Solana wallets, and the total you stake across them sets your tier. Each tier unlocks perks on your SolCard: more Drops entries, no-fee withdrawals to crypto, free cards, and at the top two tiers, staker-only drops and card rewards on the deposits you spend. Nothing is locked, so you can unstake anytime.

This guide covers how it works, what each tier gets, how card rewards are earned and claimed, the rules worth knowing before you stake, and what happens to RevShare.

The four tiers

TierSOLC stakedPerks
Essential10,0002x Drops entries · auto-enter · no fee to withdraw your card balance to crypto
Preferred50,000Everything in Essential · 3x Drops entries · 2 free cards every 12 months
Signature250,000Everything in Preferred · 4x Drops entries · staker-only drops · 10 free cards every 12 months · card rewards: 1% on crypto deposits you spend, up to $125 a month
Private1,000,000Everything in Signature · 5x Drops entries · unlimited free cards · card rewards: 1.25% on crypto and 1% on standard-fee stablecoin deposits, up to $500 a month · dedicated support

Tiers are set in SOLC, not dollars, so SOLC's price never moves you between tiers. Your tier follows the SOLC you have staked and updates within a few minutes of any change, except for the linked-account warm-up described below.

These are card perks, not a return on your SOLC. Without a tier, SolCard works exactly as it does today.

How to stake

  1. Open Staking in the SolCard web app. Staking isn't in the iOS app yet.
  2. Link your Solana wallets. You sign a message to prove each wallet is yours. That isn't a transaction and costs nothing. You can link up to 5 wallets, and your tier counts the SOLC staked across all of them. Links are permanent: a linked wallet can't be removed or swapped, and a wallet can belong to only one SolCard account, so link only wallets you'll keep.
  3. Choose your tier and stake. Your tier goes live within a few minutes.
  4. Use your card. The perks apply automatically, apart from auto-enter, which you switch on.

You need a SolCard account to stake. If you hold SOLC but don't have an account yet, sign up first.

Card rewards (Signature and Private)

Card rewards are a bonus on the deposits you make to your card. They're credited when you spend those funds.

SignaturePrivate
Crypto deposits1%1.25%
Standard-fee stablecoin deposits—1%
Monthly cap (all currencies combined)$125$500

What it looks like (crypto deposited and spent in a month):

Crypto deposited and spentSignaturePrivate
$2,500$25$31.25
$10,000$100$125
$25,000$125 (cap)$312.50
$50,000$125 (cap)$500 (cap)

Signature reaches its cap at $12,500 of crypto a month. Private reaches its cap at $40,000 of crypto, $50,000 of stablecoins, or a mix of the two.

Crypto that counts:

  • SOL, SOLC, JitoSOL, JITO, wBTC and wETH on Solana
  • ETH on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Robinhood Chain
  • BNB, POL, AVAX, HYPE, BTC and LTC

SOLC gets the same rate as every other coin.

Stablecoins that count (Private only): USDC, USDT, USDG and USDT0, on deposits charged the standard deposit fee. Deposits to 0%-fee cards such as Platinum, or at a reduced fee, don't earn the stablecoin bonus. Crypto deposits to Platinum still earn the crypto bonus.

How a reward is earned

  1. You deposit. Each deposit is recorded at the amount loaded to your card, after fees.
  2. You spend. Each purchase draws on your deposits, oldest first, and credits a pending reward. The rate is set by the lower of your tier when you deposited and your tier when you spend, so keep your stake through both.
  3. It clears. Each pending reward becomes claimable about 7 days after the purchase.
  4. You claim. Claim everything claimable at once, from $10. You can take it as USDT or USDC, paid to your first linked Solana wallet, with no fee. Or you can load it onto one of your cards: that card's normal deposit fee applies, and the load doesn't earn a new reward. One claim can be open at a time.

Caps run per calendar month (UTC), counted by the date of the purchase. Once a reward is claimable it's yours: it doesn't expire, and you can claim it even after you unstake.

Some card programs aren't eligible for card rewards.

Free cards (Preferred and up)

  • Preferred: 2 every 12 months.
  • Signature: 10 every 12 months.
  • Private: unlimited.

Each free card waives the issuance fee on one Virtual or Platinum card, up to $50. Your 12-month window starts from your first stake. Free cards you don't use in a window don't roll over.

Before you claim:

  • Free cards are claimable 7 days after your stake first reaches the tier's minimum, as long as it stays there.
  • Your identity must be verified.
  • Everyone can hold up to 15 cards at a time, Private included.

Drops, upgraded (every tier)

  • More entries: card purchases earn 2x entries at Essential, 3x at Preferred, 4x at Signature and 5x at Private. The prizes stay the same; you hold more entries.
  • Staker-only drops (Signature and Private): some drops are open only to Signature and Private stakers. Each drop shows the tier it needs.
  • Auto-enter: switch it on, and shortly before each drop closes we spread your available entries evenly across the open drops you can enter.

Drops follow the Drops Official Rules.

No-fee withdrawals (every tier)

Stakers pay no fee to withdraw their card balance to crypto.

The rules worth knowing before you stake

  • No lock. Stake, add or unstake any amount, anytime.
  • Pending means pending. If your tier drops below the tier that earned a reward before that reward is claimable, including through a full unstake, that reward is forfeited in full. A partial unstake that keeps your tier doesn't affect it.
  • Warm-up, in a few cases. SOLC you stake counts toward your tier straight away. Accounts linked to another account that staked first (for example, by a shared device) can wait up to 30 days. The rest of your stake keeps counting.
  • Up to 5 wallets, linked for good. Your tier counts the SOLC staked across all your linked wallets. Links are permanent: a linked wallet can't be removed or swapped, and a wallet can belong to only one SolCard account.
  • Refunds. If a purchase is refunded while its reward is still pending, that reward is removed. Refunds after a reward has cleared are deducted from future rewards.
  • Reviews. If an account is under review, its rewards stay pending until the review is done.
  • Changes. We give at least 30 days' notice before changing tiers, rates, caps or allowances in a way that's less favourable to you, unless the law or our card issuing partners require it sooner. Rewards you've already earned aren't affected.

The full terms are in the SOLC Staking Program Terms.

What happens to RevShare

RevShare is winding down. The final distribution goes out on October 27, 2026, at around 21:00 UTC, the same way as always: in SOLC, to every wallet that held 50,000 SOLC or more at the final snapshot on Thursday, October 22, 2026. It covers everything accrued up to then. You don't need to do anything. Referral commissions are a separate program and continue.

SOLC you stake before the final snapshot (21:05 UTC on October 22, 2026) doesn't count toward your final RevShare distribution. To receive it in full, keep your SOLC in your wallet until after the snapshot.

SolCard operates out of Hong Kong, and the regulatory landscape around token-based revenue distribution has become increasingly unclear. Our legal counsel advised that keeping RevShare would put the core card issuing business at risk.

RevShare paid out on a snapshot, whether or not you'd ever used a card. Staking works the other way round: its perks come from using SolCard.

FAQ

Is this interest or yield on my SOLC? No. Staking unlocks card perks. Card rewards are a capped bonus on deposits you spend on your SolCard, so they depend on how you use the card, not on how much SOLC you hold beyond your tier.

Can I stake from more than one wallet? Yes. Link up to 5 Solana wallets, and your tier counts the SOLC staked across all of them. Links are permanent: a linked wallet can't be removed or swapped, and a wallet can belong to only one SolCard account.

Can I stake from my phone? Staking is in the web app for now. Open app.solcard.cc/staking in your phone's browser.

Does SOLC staked before I linked my wallet count? Yes. Stakes from your linked wallets count, whenever they were made.

What happens if I unstake? Your SOLC goes back to your wallet, and your tier follows your new balance. Pending rewards earned at a higher tier than you now hold are forfeited. Claimable rewards stay yours.

Why do rewards wait 7 days? It gives us time to handle refunds and check for abuse before a reward becomes claimable.

SOLC is a crypto asset, and its price can go down as well as up. Staking perks are card benefits and don't protect the value of your SOLC. Terms apply.
